Jennifer was born in the year 1970, at Catskill Mountains New York, to mother Eileen who was an antiques dealer and father Gerard Connelly, an owner of garment industry. Connelly was imparted her primary education in St. Ann’s School near Brooklyn bridge New York. While Jennifer was just a teenager, one of her uncle suggested going for an audition of a modeling agency. Her attractive looks and decent way of speaking gave her a chance in various newspaper and magazines ads. She then stepped towards movies and got her first supporting tile in Segio Leone’s 1984. She was eleven till then and was working quite comfortably. She then acted in Once Upon A Time In America (1982), Dario Argento’s Phenomenon (1985) and Seven Minutes In Heaven.

A Beautiful Mind (2001) earned her with the most prestigious Oscar Award. She then appeared in few more commercially successful movies like Hulk, House Of Sand And Fog. Her role in horror movie Dark Water (2005) was also critically acclaimed. Now on Connelly was a renowned actress and worked in famous movies like Little Children, Blood Diamond and Reservation Road (2007).
